When completing Customs documentation Country of Origin is one of the required fields that is commonly misinterpreted.
Country of Origin does not mean where the goods are SHIPPED from but where the goods were grown, produced or manufactured.
Incorrect information could result in possible Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS) fines. So when in doubt… ask your customs broker.
